Central City Concern, Multnomah County sued again over resident allegedly left decomposing

KATU

Kristine Eno sued Central City Concern and Multnomah County for $3 million, alleging the provider failed to conduct wellness checks on her brother Eric Eno at the Shoreline transitional/parole residential complex and that his body went undiscovered for approximately 11 days. The suit is one of seven similar legal claims over bodies that went undiscovered in the nonprofit's transitional units, and it alleges 34 undetected deaths across the 2,400 public housing units Central City Concern runs in the county.

A prior wrongful-death case involved Brendan Mackey, who died at the same Shoreline facility in February 2024.
